The first quarter moon occurs Monday and the moon arrives at the low position in the solar energy path on Thursday and Friday the full moon seven-day phase begins.
Therefore, anglers can expect a weak first quarter moon that will produce a slight uptick in feeding activity during the sunset hours this evening and Monday evening, and when the full moon phase begins Friday the feed rating will improve about a half a point per day culminating at a seven or slightly better feed rating next Monday. Next weekend anglers will experience the second-best fishing days of the month.
