Fishing Will Improve as Super New Moon Phase Begins

The Florida Freshwater Fishing Forecast for the week of April 20-27, 2025, gives anglers the last quarter moon phase for the first half of the week and a super new moon phase for the second half of the week. And this week’s weather will bring anglers a taste of the rainy season pattern, which will be dominated by a medium to strong easterly wind, bright sunshine, with few clouds if any at all.

All fishing factors considered, anglers will have to work for it during the present weak last quarter moon phase, but daily feeding activity will greatly increase in duration and intensity as the second half of the week begins and a super new moon phase arrives. The best fishing days of the month will occur from Thursday through next the middle of next week. And the second half of the super new moon phase will be better than the first half.

So, if you don’t presently know where fish are holding, you should figure it out before Thursday. To do so……will greatly improve your odds of catching the fish of a lifetime.
