The Fall Season Brings Great Fishing in the Heartland

The Florida Freshwater Fishing Forecast for the week of October 26, 2025, gives anglers a weak lunar affect, as the moon waxes toward the first quarter phase which occurs during the midweek. And a fall season weather forecast will produce ideal temperatures, wind speeds, and modest atmospheric pressure changes, all of which will greatly improve daily fish adjustment activity which always produces a greater need to feed.

All fishing factors considered; even though there will be a very weak lunar influence this week, the weather changes will cause fish to feed during the sunset and sunrise periods. Dissolved oxygen rates are no longer a concern now that water temperatures are in the ideal feed rating of seventy to eight-two degrees.

Atmospheric pressure changes of over 0.10 in hg will occur today through Monday afternoon and again Thursday evening through Friday midday. And wind direction change will occur today through Monday midday followed by six days of a northwesterly wind with ideal speeds of ten to fifteen mph. Friday through next weekend a seven to ten mph north wind will provide excellent conditions for the beginning of November’s super full moon phase.

Rainfall is forecasted for today, but the next seven days bright sunshine will prevail causing fish to move tight to protective cover as they adjust to the fall weather pattern. Flippers and Pitchers will be setting the hook in shoreline shallows this week.
