Florida Freshwater Fishing Forecast for September 25-October 2, 2024
Wednesday's Complete Comprehensive Fishing Article for Florida's Freshwater Anglers
Good Fishing Today and the Weekend.
The Florida Freshwater Fishing Forecast for the last six days of September gives anglers a tropical storm weather system which is forecasted to make land on the eastern area of the panhandle, and a strong lunar influence followed by the beginning of the seven-day new moon phase.
All fishing factors considered, anglers should plan to fish this weekend, after the storm shuts- down fish feeding activity and makes being on the water unsafe due to the thirty plus mph south winds. Today however there could be some pre-front feeding activity occurring as fish begin to adjust downward and deeper than they have been over the past week.
Atmospheric pressure will rise significantly on the rebound Thursday night through Saturday midday, enough so that fish will be forced upward for a period of adjustment. This significant pressure change will result in above average feeding activity this weekend, as fish return to normal feeding patterns. Midmorning to midafternoon fishing will be good Saturday through Tuesday.
