Today’s firearms focus: Potential and Real Threat Engagements. When you decide to conceal carry a gun for personal safety, you envision scenarios which might occur that could potentially necessitate the use of deadly force in self-defense. A law-abiding conceal carrying gun owner hopes they never have to use deadly force in self-defense. And they understand they don’t choose when or if that will occur.
But they also understand reality and the existence of the criminal element of society. It’s this truth which compels them to work to acquire the mental discipline that will enable them to save themselves from deadly threats by using deadly force. Even if the undesirable result of the death results.
